Trail Along to Pismo Vintage Trailer Rally

Join us on Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm for a free event open to the public.
​Park offsite and stroll into the campground to meet owners and explore a stunning array of vintage trailers.

Check-In

• Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; RVs arriving before 4:00 p.m. will not be allowed on site before 4:00 p.m., unless the site is clear. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. ​All sites must be vacated by 12:00 noon on the date of departure.

When you arrive, check in at the gate with the park.
Once settled in your site, check in with us at site #175. We have some goodies for you.
​We will be available Thursday from 1-5 pm and from 10 am to 2 pm on Friday and Saturday.

THURSDAY
7:30 am Coffee Klatch Host Site #175

6:00 pm  - Join us for a unique potluck dinner site #175. It's Croctoberfest! Are you ready to brew up some spooktacular delights in your cauldron... err, crockpot, this Halloween season? We're conjuring up a wickedly delicious potluck feast, and we need your magical touch to make it truly enchanting! Bring forth your favorite crockpot concoctions, whether they be savory stews, hauntingly hearty chili, or bewitching brews of all kinds. Let your imagination run wild as you whip up your very own potions of flavor and delight! But wait, there's more! Share your recipe with us, and it may just find its way into our very own spellbinding cookbook, ensuring your culinary sorcery lives on for generations to come. Salads are also welcome.

• Please bring some firewood. We want to have several campfires going. (Bring a chair to sit arounfd the fire.)
• Bring your musical instrument for an informal campfire music jam.
• ​S'more ingredients will be provided for dessert. 

8:00 pmish - (After the potluck) Head on over to Jay and Paiges Palace for the Biker Bar mixer! Sites ​ 210/211 .


FRIDAY:

9:30 am Monster Mash Mimosa Morning.  Spooky, strange, mid century,  etc  pajama party  at the Vandammes/Geides sites #328 and #289. 

10:00 and 10:45 Sessions- THIS EVENT IS FULL Crafting Workshop: Make Your Own Drop Earrings with Angela Elsey
Join us for a fun and creative workshop hosted by Angela Elsey at the host’s site, #279.  You’ll have the chance to craft your very own pair of drop earrings! This hands-on session will allow you to pick out your favorite beads and place them on end pins to create a beautiful, personalized accessory.

Noon- Bowling Tournament at the Pismo Bowl! $12/person for the 1st game including shoes, and $7 for each game thereafter. Prizes for highest score (mens and womens), lowest score, and best bowling shirt/outfit. Hosted by Ben & Roxanne Miller. Pismo Bowl, 277 Pomeroy Ave, Pismo Beach, CA 93449

2:00 pm to 4:00 pm  Kite Flying on the Beach with Jim and Lynn Foster. Professional kite flyers, Jim and Lynn Foster are original Trailerites from the early days of the Trail Along to Pismo rallies. They travel the world as top ranked exhibition kite flyers and are willing to share their art with you at the rally this year. Bring a kite of your own or just come as a spectator.
 (Access the beach where Addie St.  deadends at the north end of the RV park at the boardwalk.)​​

2:00 pm - Cornhole Tournament. Hosted by Jay and Paige at site number 210/211 .
​Team Prizes! (You may want to sign up as a couple to win a two night stay at Pismo Coast RV resort!)

5:30 pm - Trailer Crawl hosted by Gary and Margo Warner of Vintage Trailer Rescue. Trailerites stroll the park at dusk under the awning lights and interior glowing amber, from site to site, visiting with neighbors and enjoying tasty trick or Treat Themed "sips and bits."  Download a Map of the Crawl

​Greetings, fellow Vintage Trailer enthusiasts.  Margo and I are excited to once again be hosting the Trailer Crawl event for the Trail Along to Pismo Vintage Trailer Rally.  For those of you who might not be familiar with our event, the crawl allows everyone to "stroll" throughout the vintage trailers enjoying "sips and bits" provided by those who have offered to be host sites.  Several of you have graciously offered to be a host at your trailer site.  -Gary Warner, Vintage Trailer Rescue

SATURDAY
7:30 am to 9 am - Pancake Breakfast at the host's site, #175. Come in your PJs! 

​10 am to 2 pm - Open House - Free to the public to come in and view the trailers and meet the owners.

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Costume Ball social and Awards Ceremony on the patio.  Gather on the patio near the entrance. (Go early for no host dinner and live music.) Around 8:00 pm we will have our awards ceremony including a two night stay at PCV for the best costume at the Ball! Music to follow until about 9 pm.

8:30 am - Coffee and Worship service in the clubhouse meeting room.

The "Trail Along to Pismo" Vintage Trailer Rally is in no way associated with any other vintage trailer rallies held at the Pismo Coast Village RV Resort. Reservations for the "Trail Along to Pismo" Vintage Trailer Rally must be made with the host and cannot be made through the park. In order to participate we ask you have a trailer 1969 and older. RV's, Airstreams, Vans, Buses, 1979 and older. Special interests travel/camping builds may be considered.
