Heavy rains and snow melts have delayed maintenance on the lake. The work is behind schedule due to circumstances beyond everyone's control. Although we are optimistic, chances are the lake will not be available to us this year. There is a pool and a mini golf course, and we will have plenty of other activities and a good time either way. Campsites Thursday through Sunday are $299

Ukulelle Lessons
Yee-Ha... Trailerfest is almost here and that means there is more ukulele on the way! This is Vintage Ryan and I have another ukulele lesson planned. Since I have taught a beginner class three times, we are now moving forward. This lesson will be focused on how to arrange a song to play with a group. We will go through what that means, and how to add syncopation to advance beyond a basic up down up down pattern of playing. We will do this as we work our way through the songs. These cowboy related songs all use no more than four chords, and most of those are basic chords I taught in past lessons. My suggestion is to play through these songs a few times before trailefest so you can be a little familiar before we all come together. I will bring plenty of paper copies, so no need to print them.
Here are links, and if you are unfamiliar with any of these songs, look them up on YouTube with the name of the song and the word “ukulele”. You will find many examples.
As always, bring your own ukulele, your singing voice, and we will do the rest!

Photo Scavenger Hunt
- A photo of your trailer and tow rig in route to Trailerfest.
- A silly selfie.
- Any flag at the rally.
- A photo that includes a VCT magazine.
- Someone at the rally in costume.
- Food fun at the rally.
- A trailer that screams the theme.
- A trailer using Lynx levelers.
- The coolest thing you saw at the rally.
- Any group event or group of posers.
We took these images and the below video when we visited the park in early October of 2022. Roughly the same time of year we will be at the park for the rally in 2023. We added some photos of sites in January of '23. The photos were taken right after the storms and flooding so the roads are dirty and covered in leaves.
On our site visit we noticed most sites only had a 30 amp hook up. If you are ussing a standard plug you may need an adapter. Most sites have only water and electric hook-ups. There is a dump site, but you may need a tote at your site. We are camping among the trees and every site is not perfectly level. Bring some leveleing blocks just in case. It's a western theme so don't forget your cowboy hat!
